It was a short 15 min interview with a principal from LA. The pace was very quick and questions were straightforward. We went through resume and portfolio. The principal wanted me to describe one project that reflects the design thinking.

I stated my expected salary range but during the initial phone screening, was badgered by the recruiter to lower my expectations (this would have been a lateral move for me and I stated that I would expect compensation equal to my current position, not an increase). This was prior to undergoing a full interview. The only other questions they asked, I had already answered in the job application. I was offered an in-person interview but had to ask to reschedule due to serious illness. The recruiter said they would get back to me but I never heard from them again. Overall I found the hiring process very strange and unprofessional.
