I had a great experience with AECOM's hiring process. After submitting my resume, I was pleasantly surprised to receive an invitation to a mixer event for talent acquisition. It was a fantastic opportunity — I got to meet and connect with people who actually work at AECOM, which gave me a real feel for the company culture and the people behind it. The event was well organized and genuinely enjoyable. The following day, I went in for my interview, and having already met some familiar faces made the whole experience feel much more comfortable and personal. However, after the interview I never heard back regarding the results. Even after following up, I received no response. It was disappointing considering how promising and engaging the process started out. I wish the communication at the end had matched the energy of the beginning. A simple update either way would have gone a long way.
