I was handed over a website for review. I believe this is what they do to get ideas. First of all the person interviewing me had no a single clue what search engine optimization. I have been in this industry for 7 years and I appreciate if the interviewer throws a curve ball at me. She noted all the suggestion and ideas during the interview. I was told that I will have an interview with the director. I never got a refusal, I approached the recruiter and she told me that they want to move on with another candidate. I emailed the director who was connected with me on Linkedin that this is a very wrong move. You do not outreach people personally specially if you want him to work on your project and than the interviewer has no clue what he/she is talked about. Now here is the funny thing, couple of months later, I get another call from a recruiter who saw my blogpost and was interested in interviewing me. I was like For God Sake look in your system before outreaching people. I will not recommend this company particularly to any seo specialist. They don't know what they are talking about. Just check some of their customer websites and you will know exactly I am talking about.
