      Entrevista

Three rounds. Recruiter, hiring manager, final round. Recruiter was very informal. Interview with hiring manager was more focused on experience. Final round was more structured and informative about the company and job expectations. First two phone/virtual. Final in person

      Entrevista

The whole process from applying to job offer was just under 11 weeks. About 5 weeks after applying I received a notification for a phone interview. It was probably the most dry thing I have ever gone through. This was a cut and dry phone screen with a guy reading off a script asking very basic questions about resume and making sure I am ok with job requirements. After the phone screen there is an online assessment that takes 45 min to an hour. Pretty simple and tries to gauge your ability to use information to find a solution and multitask effectively. About a week later I was contacted by a recruiter to set up some time to talk. This is where things got more personal and the conversation felt more like a phone interview than just a scripted screening. My first interview was set for two weeks later and the recruiter sends lots of useful information to help you prep. Definitely read through this info. If you use the info provided to prep you will be more than prepared. The interview was supposed to be with two managers, but ended up being one manager in person and the other joined in on a conference call from Florida. Off the bat they wanted to make the interview comfortable and more conversational. Perhaps I made a great impression because they did not really dive deep with too many of those "gotcha" interview questions. Typical questions like Why do you want to work here? What do you know about ADP? Weaknesses? A few situational questions. They were also very honest about how challenging the job can be which I appreciated. At the end I asked some questions for them and they sent me on my way. The next day I was told by the recruiter that the interview went well and that I needed to set up my final interview which is a phone interview with a VP. This did not end up going according to plan and I had the final phone interview with someone else. It was a bit more relaxed with some more off topic convo but then I ended up going through my resume again and some situational questions. Which at this point felt a bit repetitive since I have already done it 3 times. Not sure if this was by design or if I would have had a different experience actually speaking with the VP. About a week later I received an offer. The recruiter kept up with me pretty well during the down times which was much appreciated. The next steps were the background check, and I guess given the nature of the business ADP does, they are VERY thorough. So if you are the type to lie about some things on your resume. Definitely not getting away with that here. They even give you time to correct your final application for employment to make sure dates are very accurate along with wages/salaries before they submit it.

3 rounds of interview, after which I received the call. The interview process was walk in, in which the waiting time is a bit longer but, that’s because of the number of people that showed up maybe.

      Entrevista

The Worst Interview Experience – Lack of Transparency and Professionalism The interview process was one of the most disorganized experiences I've ever had. Initially, they called candidates one by one for the first round. When my name was called, I stepped in and was asked for a basic self-introduction, current salary, work experience, and notice period. The interviewer, Sunil, noted everything down without even making eye contact or acknowledging us properly. For the second round, a group of candidates, were asked to move to the first floor and wait. However, I wasn’t called along with the first batch that went upstairs. I assumed I'd be called once they were done — but to my surprise, I was called while still sitting in the lobby, even though the first-floor candidates were still waiting. The second-round interview involved basic questions about previous roles, family background, and hobbies. I answered all of them clearly. Still, I was unexpectedly rejected for these standard questions — with no feedback or reason given. Even more frustrating was what happened with my friend. He was called before me for the interview, but we later found out that the interviewer had not even received his interview summary. They then asked him to wait again. After hours of waiting with no communication, we had to approach them ourselves, only to be told we’d receive an update via email or phone. It’s been days, and there’s been no follow-up at all. This was truly a terrible experience. If you're going to invite candidates, at least be transparent and respectful of their time. People take time off, travel, and come with expectations — the least you can do is offer clarity and communication. Ghosting candidates after interviews is unprofessional. This entire process was disheartening and poorly managed.
