I applied for two roles, at two separate times with ADAPT. Both times, they showed a total disregard for basic communication and consideration. Bunch of time wasters.
The first time, I filled out an online application which included some long form questions which I answered. I was contacted the next day by a manager there, Jessica Uy who said she would "be calling me between 10-3" and could I please let her know of any blackout times to be aware of? This mode of communication - not a request for availability but she just told me she would be calling in a five hour window - I have never seen before and it's pretty presumptuous. Despite this, I sent through my availability, quickly and clearly, I never received a confirmation or call. i also sent her a text message to which she never responded. Time wasted #1.
Second time, i applied via an external recruiter, for which the hiring manager was Amy Dillon. She moved me to the first round interview with Amy, which I was told to prepare for and I did. Two days later, on the day of the scheduled interview, they told me that they had already moved to offer stage with a candidate. So why did they move me to first round if they were already in offer round? Time waster #2. Learned my lesson with these people.
