Sent my applications to them and got an Email back that the position is already filled in. Around 30 days later I get another Email from them, asking me if I am still interested in that position and with suggested days for the interview. I replied that I am still very interested and that I can only offer them an online interview because of my current living situation. They agreed and we found an appointment suitable for both sides. Because of a working related reason I was not available for the agreed day and sent them in advance an email with the request for a new appointment. No reply at all, so I asked them again, some days later, if they are still interested in the interview or not. 2 days later I get the cancellation Email and the reason for them is my current living situation: overseas. That reason was known by them from the first day and besides they came back to me! Communication and knowing your own requirements are the key, can save a lot of trouble and time for both sides! Keep it professional, especially if you are one of the comapny's CEO.
