First of all, the whole process has taken over two months, and it is still ongoing... which is too long according to my experiences.
The HRBP phoned me three days after I applied the position on an recruitment application popular in China. We talked about why I want to quit my current job and why I applied for ABB.
Three weeks later I was invited to attend the first face-to-face interview with my potential line manager and the hrbp. It took us about one hour and I passed.
One week later the head of Marcom, also the VP of ABB China, gave me a 30 minutes interview, during which I found another girl is also a strong competitior.
Ten days later -- when I was getting tired of the efficiency of the company -- the hrbp told me they thought the other candidate is more suitable for the position I appiled, and they prefered to transfer me to another requiring more experiences. So I had to take the third interview, obviously.
The final interview took 30 minutes talking and 10 minutes Eng-Chi translating test. The line manager this time said they would inform me by the mid or the end of Feb., because they might extend their Chinese New Year breaking with a few days more.
Then here I am. Still waiting.
