The hiring manager mostly told war stories for an hour and a half without eliciting any info from me. His colleague at the table hadn't even seen my application and asked me for a copy of my resume. I was told later the role went to a candidate returning to the company and who had experience with the software but in a lower level position. I guess they wanted something familiar.
