Me postulé en línea. Acudí a una entrevista en AAMC

      Entrevista

Fake job? I interviewed for two different roles. The first one, I never heard back after the hiring manager interview. No real interview questions were asked. Not sure how they evaluate anything without asking more detailed questions about the job or my experience. For the second role, I made it to the panel interview stage. It took almost 3 weeks to schedule. The panel interview was 4.5 hours long (1 break) with 5 interviewers. Everything went fine. I discussed my experience and interest in the role. There was no indication that there were any questions or concerns about my experience or capabilities. No serious questions asked, but I made sure to emphasize my expertise, which matched the job description. One week later, I receive the rejection email, but I notice that another job was posted, with a similar title. Sure enough, it's the exact same job, exact same bullet points, tasks, etc. For example: "Responsible as Data Steward for acquiring any needed training and carrying out the functions of a data steward successfully in a manner consistent with the policies and procedures of the AAMC and the mentorship of the Chief or Data Steward Lead and meeting the responsibilities of Data Steward that are outlined in the Data Steward Policy." and the new description says "Serve as a Data Steward for key AAMC data assets. As Data Steward, the individual is responsible for acquiring any needed training and carrying out the functions of a data steward successfully in a manner consistent with the policies and procedures of the AAMC and the guidance of the Chief or Data Steward Lead, and meeting the responsibilities of Data Steward that are outlined in the Data Steward Policy." The entire job description matches the original job description exactly. IF I was not qualified for the role, it should have been noted after just seeing my resume, phone screen, OR manager interview. It is extremely disrespectful to invite someone for a 4.5 hour interview just to repost the job on the SAME DAY and the attempt to slightly change the title is so shady and unprofessional. If I made it to the last interview, I am obviously qualified for the role. Unprofessionalism in the hiring process needs to be addressed.
