      Entrevista

      Fairly typical interview process. Pre-screen call, initial in person, second in person interview with a senior executive, then the final. was a panel interview with the owners. Everybody was very nice. All three of the in-person interviews themselves were a positive experience. There were, however several red flags. Keep in mind this was an interview for a department head (learning & development) that reported directly to the COO: 1) Department heads are required to "clock in and out" using their phone each day. 2) Only five days of PTO are offered during the first year (unknown for subsequent years) 3) I had to reach out to them directly (twice) in order to receive word that I was not selected. 4) The recruiter was not able to provide any feedback as to why I was not selected. While not required by any stretch, this is a very common professional courtesy - particularly for senior leaders. 5) She committed to obtaining feedback and sending it to me in writing... this never happened. The company is growing at a rapid rate which is indicative of an organization doing something right. How they treat their candidates, and employees, however, remains stuck in a time long since past.
