Very pleasant interviews with the leader of the department. Had 2 interviews in all.
The first interview was really professional, pleasant and informative and was conducted by the leader of the department. I was asked to show some previous work so they could get an idea of my skill level and style.
Was called for a second round of interviews and was asked to do a personality test before the interview.
At the second interview, the department leader was present as well as HR-representatives.
I was not very impressed with the HR people as they appeared unprepared for the interview.
A week later I recieved an e-mail with 2 lines saying they went ahead with another candidate. I never recieved any feedback or explanation. I wrote a kind thank you e-mail and politely asked if they, when their time permitted it, could give some feedback but they never answered.
It is the first time I have ever gone through 2 rounds of interviews and not received any feedback what so ever, so that was rather disappointing.
