After that, I went through four separate video interviews, including one with a company executive. Based on what the hiring manager shared, I was one of two final candidates, and I was being considered not only for the role I applied for, but also for another position that was expected to open soon. Then communication stopped completely. I never heard back after the final interview—no email, no phone call, nothing. If you’re pursuing a role with 3M, I strongly recommend keeping other opportunities moving in parallel and not turning down a solid offer while waiting on 3M, because you may end up disappointed.
