What will you be doing?
Apply skills, integrity, and knowledge in key areas of structural engineering, including design codes and Engineering best practices.
Independently evaluate, organize, and prioritize work under supervision.
Provide structural stability and integrity calculations for subsea structures.
Design and detailing per API, DNV, AISC and client standards.
Produce design documentation, specifications, datasheets, and MTOs.
Perform stress analysis using STAAD Pro, CAESAR, ANSYS or similar.
Interface with other disciplines and support on site work as required.
What experience would we like you to have?
Bachelor’s degree in civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
1-3 years relevant experience in structural design within Marine/Oil & Gas.
Awareness of marine classification and local legislation.
Ability to prioritize, organize work and deliver quality outputs.
Basic knowledge of STAAD Pro, CAESAR, ANSYS or similar software.
Identification of industry codes, standards and design guidelines.
Presents self in a professional manner appropriate to the role.
Strong communication in English and teamwork skills. (Required)
Experience with PLET design, seafastening, lifting and rigging, or installation aids is recommended.
