We’re hiring a Senior / Lead AI Engineer to join AytmaTech’s outsourcing pool and lead AI-driven solution development on engagements for international clients. This is a fully remote, contract-based/permanent role focused on building, integrating, and deploying modern AI systems across a variety of business domains and products. Professional English communication (written & spoken) is required.

What you’ll do

• Serve as the primary AI engineering lead on client contract engagements (outsourced/embedded role).
• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions, applications, and automation workflows for client projects.
• Develop and integrate machine learning, generative AI, and LLM-based features into web platforms, internal tools, and business systems.
• Build and optimize AI pipelines for data processing, model inference, evaluation, and monitoring.
• Work with structured and unstructured data sources to prepare datasets, improve quality, and support AI workflows.
• Implement prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, vector search, and agent-based workflows where applicable.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, product, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions.
• Evaluate AI models, tools, APIs, and frameworks to recommend practical and cost-effective implementations.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and operational efficiency of AI systems in production environments.
• Support deployment, testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting of AI-powered applications.
• Create technical documentation, implementation guidelines, and knowledge transfer materials for client teams.
• Provide clear status updates and lead communication with international stakeholders throughout engagements.

Required (must-have)

• 4–7 years of professional experience in software engineering, machine learning, AI engineering, or related roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience building production-grade applications and APIs.
• Hands-on experience working with AI/ML frameworks, LLM APIs, or modern AI tooling ecosystems.
• Experience integrating AI services and models into real-world applications and workflows.
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, retrieval systems, and LLM limitations.
• Experience working with data processing, APIs, asynchronous workflows, and backend integrations.
• Familiarity with model evaluation, testing, observability, and performance optimization.
• Understanding of AI security, privacy, reliability, and responsible AI considerations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to balance experimentation with practical delivery.
• Professional English communication (written & spoken) — able to work with international clients and lead cross-functional discussions.
• Availability to take client assignments and embed within client processes.

Nice-to-have

• Experience with frameworks and tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs, Ollama, or similar ecosystems.
• Experience building RAG systems, AI copilots, AI agents, or conversational interfaces.
• Experience with vector databases and semantic search technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment environments for AI workloads.
• Experience with MLOps, model lifecycle management, monitoring, or inference optimization.
• Exposure to fine-tuning, open-source models, or multimodal AI systems.
• Experience with data engineering, analytics, or ETL pipelines.
• Experience working in outsourcing, agency, or embedded-team models.
• Basic frontend/backend development knowledge to support full AI feature integration and troubleshooting.
