Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 MXN gross per month

Contract: Initial 3-month project with a strong possibility of extension and long-term employment.

We are seeking an experienced SDET Engineer to join a high-impact project focused on delivering quality software through robust test automation and quality assurance practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of test strategies and test plans.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress and TypeScript.
• Execute End-to-End, API, and Performance testing initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and business teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct code reviews and provide recommendations to improve testability and quality.
• Analyze test results and identify opportunities for process and product improvements.
• Mentor QA team members and promote testing best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across QA processes.

Required Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Cypress and TypeScript (required).
• Experience with JMeter, Postman, Jest, SQL/Databases, and Jira.
• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and testing methodologies.
• Experience writing and executing complex automated test cases and test scripts.
• Expertise in End-to-End, API, and Performance/Load Testing.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.
• Familiarity with AWS CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
