Role Overview
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Support Workers to provide in-home care and community-based support for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and daily living assistance to elderly clients
- Support clients to achieve personal goals, independence, and community access
- Assist with social, recreational, and community participation activities
- Manage challenging behaviours and support clients in complex environments
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
- Build positive and professional relationships with clients and their families
Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting elderly clients
- Ability to manage challenging clients and environments
- Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to person-centred and respectful care
Mandatory Requirements
- Australian work rights
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check / Verification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 6 months experience as a Support Worker
