Job Details

• As a Justice Worker, you’ll play a key role in supporting people involved with Justice Services by carrying out assessments, managing cases, and helping improve outcomes for individuals, families, and the wider community. You’ll work closely with partners across social work, health, education, police and the voluntary sector to ensure people receive safe, effective and person ‑ centred support.
  

• What You’ll Do
  

• You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:

• Coordinating and managing a caseload, using electronic recording systems accurately

• Assessing needs and risks, and contributing to more complex assessments

• Developing and contributing to case management plans

• Writing clear, informed reports with recommendations

• Maintaining regular contact with service users

• Supporting independence, inclusion, and positive outcomes

• Working collaboratively with partner agencies

• Ensuring risk assessment and risk management underpin all interventions
  

The Person

• Essential skills and experience include:
  

• Experience working in a relevant setting

• Knowledge of professional practice models, guidelines and information ‑ sharing protocols

• Strong communication, problem ‑ solving and report ‑ writing skills

• Ability to provide a consistent, effective service

• IT competence and confidence using electronic systems

• Understanding of equality, diversity and empowerment in practice
  

Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
