We are looking for a focused Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. In this role, you will support the daily operations of our accounts department. We are specifically looking for someone who catches on to new software and processes quickly and can communicate clearly with the rest of the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Accounting: Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Data Entry: Accurately record financial transactions and maintain up-to-date ledgers.
• Petty Cash: Handle petty cash management and expense reimbursements.
• Invoicing: Prepare and send invoices to clients and follow up on payments.
• Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements and internal records.
• Documentation: Maintain organized digital and physical financial records.
• Support: Provide general administrative support to the finance manager as needed.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance support role.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• Fast Learner: Strong ability to learn new accounting software and internal processes quickly.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books) is a plus.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and calculations.
