Supply Chain Coordinator -
Based in Driffield, YO25 9FR
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Planning & Forecasting team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient supply of materials to our production facility, supporting the manufacturing of finished goods in line with operational demands.
You will work closely with suppliers, logistics providers, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders to manage inbound supply, maintain stock accuracy, and support production planning.
Main Duties
- Coordinate inbound movements of goods from the UK and France
- Monitor MRP and manage stock replenishment in line with Kanban levels
- Raise purchase orders for raw materials, components, third-party sites, and haulage
- Book stock into relevant warehouses accurately
- Liaise with suppliers to organise deliveries and resolve any issues
- Arrange haulage and customs clearance for Ex Works shipments where required
- Maintain accurate stock movement records for third-party storage sites
- Conduct stocktaking activities and adjustments for internal and 3PS stock
- Participate in weekly adjustment meetings and report on variances
- Order components from VNA racking based on production requirements
- Scan and file documentation in internal systems
- Investigate and resolve invoice queries with suppliers and head office
- Perform weekly raw material stock checks and investigations
- Ensure timely ordering of raw materials in line with production plans
Additional Responsibilities
- Ensure supplier order acknowledgements are received and match purchase orders
- Maintain container tracking records and liaise with clearance agents
- Verify supplier documentation accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate hardware orders and liaise with planning teams on amendments
- Prepare and submit payment documentation for inbound shipments
- Keep intake schedules updated and communicate changes to the Warehouse Manager
Essential Criteria
- At least 2 years’ experience in stock management, supply chain coordination, or ecommerce operations.
- Experience working with inventory or ERP systems (e.g. Cin7, Shopify, or similar).
- Experience creating and managing purchase orders.
- Strong IT skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel (data management, reporting, analysis). High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data, stock records, and system updates.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
