Wallwork Newcastle are looking for a full time Heat Treatment Operator, working midday - 9pm (Monday-Thursday) and 9am-6pm (Friday). The ideal candidate will have previous heat treatment experience.

Primary Job Responsibility: -

· Operating furnaces in order to process customer's work

· Set and adjust the controls of the furnaces to meet customer’s requirements.

· Both loading and unloading furnaces.

· Testing of customer's work

· Secondary processing such as bead blasting/shot blasting as required.

· Organising and following directives to maintain throughput.

Processes include:

Carburising

Tufftriding

Induction

Skills to include: -

· Good communication skills

· Good time keeping

· Good work ethic

· Good housekeeping

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
