About the opportunity
Do you have a keen interest in laboratory science and a desire to contribute to high-quality patient care? NSW Health Pathology is seeking motivated and reliable Medical Laboratory Assistants to join the Central Specimen Reception (CSR) at Sutherland Hospital. We are seeking two staff to join our team on a permanent full time and a permanent part time at 20 hours per week basis.

What you'll be doing
Contribute to a high-quality pathology service. Perform pathology specimen reception duties including receiving and triaging of specimens, patient registration and request entry, specimen processing and preparation for transport or delivery to laboratories for timely accurate diagnostic testing.
