Portage Environmental helps carry the load for customers needing environmental engineering services. The firm's offerings include environmental remediation, process and project engineering, and decontamination and decommissioning services. Portage Environmental counts US government agencies (such as the Department of Defense and the Department of Energy) and Native American tribes among its clients, and has conducted projects in 20 US states, as well as in Afghanistan, Guam, Iraq, Japan, Kuwait, Qatar, and South Korea. The firm operates from some two dozen offices throughout the US. President and CEO Michael Spry helped found Portage Environmental in 1992.
