Descripción One particular TV network is more clearly defined than others. HDNet is an all-high definition national television broadcast network. The company televises series, movies, news, and sports programming (its content is produced both in-house and provided by third parties). Its two networks, HDNet and HDNet Movies, are available on such systems as DIRECTV, DISH Network, Time Warner Cable, Charter Communications, Comcast, and other cable companies affiliated with the National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC). HDNet was launched in 2001 by co-founders Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks, and Philip Garvin of Colorado Studios. It is a subsidiary of Cuban's 2929 Entertainment.
