IPS Pakistan is seeking a skilled and innovative Python Software Developer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing Python-based applications, automation solutions, and data-driven systems while contributing to AI-enabled initiatives and business process optimization.

Major Job ResponsibilitiesApplication Development & Automation

• Develop and maintain Python-based applications, APIs, and automation solutions.
• Design scalable software solutions to improve operational efficiency and business processes.
• Build automation tools for Excel processing, reporting, and workflow optimization.

Database & Data Engineering

• Design, manage, and optimize databases and data integration workflows.
• Develop and maintain reporting systems and data pipelines.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across applications.

AI & System Integration

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align AI-powered solutions with business objectives.
• Integrate APIs, third-party services, and modern software platforms.
• Contribute to AI-related initiatives and automation projects.

Collaboration & Innovation

• Participate in solution design, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement through automation and technology.
• Support ongoing enhancements to existing systems and applications.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong knowledge of Python programming and software development principles.
• Experience with SQL/PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and data integration.
• Familiarity with Excel automation, data processing, and reporting tools.
• Understanding of AI tools, cloud platforms, and modern web technologies.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Other IT Skills

• Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Understanding of Embedding Models and vector-based search concepts.
• Knowledge of Data Engineering concepts and workflows.
• Familiarity with AI integrations and intelligent automation solutions.
• Experience with software architecture, version control, and deployment practices is a plus.
