Lead Full-Stack Engineer (Python + React + SQL)

We are looking for a Lead Full-Stack Engineer to deliver scalable, end-to-end web systems across frontend, backend, and data layers. Responsibilities

• Design responsive and intuitive web interfaces using modern UI/UX technologies
• Build and maintain server-side services that power our software applications
• Optimize backend performance, scalability, and reliability through monitoring and tuning
• Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and designers to align frontend and backend integration
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code that follows best practices and coding standards
• Model and optimize database structures and queries to enable fast, reliable storage and retrieval
• Execute thorough testing and debugging to uncover and fix issues or bottlenecks
• Stay current on industry trends and recommend enhancements to backend architecture and development processes
• Review code to uphold quality standards and mentor junior developers
• Partner with DevOps engineers to deploy and operate applications in production environments
• Provide technical direction and day-to-day support to team members when needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer or similar role focused on scalable web application delivery
• Strong foundation in core computer science concepts, including data structures and algorithms
• Expert-level capability with React, JavaScript, and at least one backend language (Python preferred)
• Hands-on experience with web frameworks and technologies such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Solid background in databases, including relational systems like SQL Server, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and Oracle
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience building and consuming APIs
• Working knowledge of version control tools such as Git and collaborative development practices
• Familiarity with AI coding agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex
• Financial Industry experience or curiosity to learn and engage in Private Equity/Credit business domains
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment
• English proficiency at B2 level (Upper-Intermediate) or higher

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Accounting or Advent Geneva
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis
• Understanding of Data Engineering tools and platforms, including data pipelines and data lake concepts
• Comfort using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, plus containerization with Docker or Kubernetes
• Background in bank loans/leveraged loans, fixed-income products and CLOs, derivatives, ABS, and CMBS products
