Ventajas
1. Most of them are real good people who genuinely care about others and everyone on the team. 2. Very fundamental value of non crunching practices no matter what. 3. Top management is reachable via all channels of communication. 4. A lot of open sessions/workshops/seminars for constant learning and uplifting your skills or just basic 'ask help types' or some are just fun coffee hours for a specific group of people. 5. The list can go on and on.
Desventajas
1. Short term goals driven. 2. Too much time & effort needed to change some obvious problems that lead to revenue. 3. Rev driven so have to be prepared for Pivots mid development in the 4th quarter every year. (No crunching, just a lot of wasted effort which never sees the light of day once put aside) 4. If your game does not do good, be ready for peanuts in your annual review.
