      Ventajas

      The area is gorgeous. It's not a commercial business. Small town feel. Easy to get the job. Out at a decent hour (3-4 pm)

      Desventajas

      Entry pay is decent, but being a senior member of the team did not seem to give me much privilege, and when I left, new workers were making the same as I was at 8 years at this place. Management is not good at making workers feel. Felt like housekeeping was not consulted with a lot of the decisions that would impact the housekeeping department. Overworked in the summer. Kitchen worker etiquette is not politically correct. Benefits are poor. It felt like housekeeping was the least of the departments, but everyone relies on them. Gets blamed for everything.

      Ventajas

      Coworkers, benefits, enjoyable environment to work, great hours, servers have food runners to run food to tables.

      Desventajas

      Income is very seasonal, restaurant management is scarce during service hours especially during chaotic summer shifts when waitstaff could use additional help to provide service to guests. Servers are responsible for 8-10 tables in a section which is very chaotic at times. Bartending is difficult because most of the liquor bottles don’t have speed pours on them.
