Ventajas
Everyone who works here is super friendly and often time spend time together outside of work. The job gives you a good chance to learn about the telecom business and helps you develop your skills. Great company events for employees twice a year. George (one of the owners) is really friendly and will take time to speak with you. Lots of flexibility for schedules, so its a good choice for students or people with children
Desventajas
Company tends to treat women without respect, especially women who haven't been accepted by the "good ole boys" club; they don't hire people until there is a dire need (when there are only 2 people available in the department and they are overworked); EXTREMELY high turnover rate due to terrible pay because they start everyone out at lowest wage, regardless of skill, ability, or experience; Pay maximums for particular positions are only $2 or $3 dollars higher than starting wage for position and you are encouraged to apply for another department or to look for another job; they don't believe in overtime, yet they expect people to step up when needed; no compensation, incentives, or bonus opportunity; management tends to play favorites and overlooks workers who actually put forth the work and effort and rewards those who simply "play the part"; medical benefits package is expensive; management is incompetent and tends to point the finger when something goes wrong; issues and concerns aren't addressed or solved, you are just thanked for bringing it to their attention; when someone asked if there would be pay increases due to the increase in business expansion, we were told (in a company meeting by one of the owners who wasn't George) that "no one is holding a gun to your head to make you stay"; little to no training before you get thrown into the job with high expectations for the outcomes; promotions are few and far between
