Ventajas
- Scheduling is up to the employee mostly
- Decent pay for the work
Desventajas
- Direct managers did not have a clear understanding of expectations from upper management
- If you are actually looking to feel fulfilled doing progressive work, this is not the org for you
- Management WILL retaliate if you have an HR complaint
- If you give them an inch, they will take a mile. Offer to do a coworker a favor/go above and beyond one time? It is now expected that you will always do that
- They really will hire just anybody
- Upper management is very rude & condescending to other employees. Employees are treated like school children, which could be because they will hire just anybody, and they feel yelling is the only way to get through to them
- Feel unsafe in the field? They will tell you that they care, but it is your problem, and they will be moody if you have a very negative/threatening interaction and ask to leave early/move locations
- For a nonprofit centered around underrepresented groups, they were not very culturally competent (dodged questions about what to say if someone asks about ICE, presented false information in messaging, even after receiving correction, etc.)
- Even though you get to make your own schedule, you will receive all kinds of messages outside of operating hours for a position that most definitely does not require constant contact
- A little shady in general
