network layer is the main layer that help in comunicating and connecthing the rendomly scarted devices , also the layer has its own security , there are many devices connected to the same network and not necessarily be the relivant user or the desired device that is supposed to get the message/ data , so the data security and also CIA must be maintained on the network layer
