I came to CUHK for a high level legal education on Chinese Business Law, and after I graduated from CUHK, the legal environment and unmatched pay in Hong Kong are very attractive for me. I feel I could get more respect in Hong Kong than Mainland China. Apart from this, I believe my profession of civil law is useful in the common law system, because clients could expect me to offer some cross-border advises to them. Just like our corporate service, when some foreign enterprises hope to build their offshore companies in China, I could help them on tax planning and legislation researching, I can also assist lawyers to do some advises on market entry and maintained.
