Got an offer letter, put down a deposit on a house, and they changed their mind three weeks later. Incredibly disrespectful of my time and resources. Not hired due to a cleared misdemeanor on my background check from 7 years ago (I was 25, it is what it is). I knew it was a tower, but didn't know it was an ivory tower.
