Redirect the child's attention.

Calmly and firmly explain the consequences if they don't behave and be positive about the good things.

Take him out of the classroom and talk to him/ her

I would first give the student a verbal warning or two. If it happens repeatedly and is a disturbance to the classroom, I would ask to speak to him/her separately after class, then consider further disciplinary measures if necessary.
