What is one problem with video object detection and planar stability in slam?

I gave many potential problems with simple solutions but aparently he was refering to applying fft and see if there is a moving truck in front of the camera that is filling the view or just simple scenery. To differentiate you can apply fft and see the peaks. Meaning that is the pioint the other plane appeared.
