I explained that autism can present in a number of ways and can be very different for each person, causing sensory needs, the need for routine, learning disability etc. I also explained that it can lead to behaviours which challenge such as violence, self harm and inappropriate social behaviours. I talked about comorbid conditions such as OCD, ADHD, and epilepsy.
