The founder was Tim Martin who opened his first pub in north London, there are over 950 pubs and restaurants in the U.K. And Ireland, the name Wetherspoon came from his teacher who couldn't control his class, like Tim couldn't control the people in his pub. Each pub has a unique carpet.
