company needs to analyse the customer demand in terms of overall product/services developemnt & costing to it. also every company needs to do customer profiling and need to identify value customer is delivering to the company. Do cost benefit analysis, it will answer the question

Depends on which customer. The purpose of the company is to make money. If that customer is costing the company more many than he/she is worth, that customer should be fired. Some customers make the company so much money that them always being right is well worth it.
