You have the fan blades sucking in the air into the compressor stages where its pressure increases. Then into the combustion chamber where the fuel and air mixtures meet. This causes explosive gas to expand and turn the turbine section. This turns the compressor stages and the remaining gasses are then out through the exhaust section
