Be proactive in gaining solid agreements up front, then communicate and collaborate to resolve. If pointing out agreements and SOW does not work, leverage the contract terms, and then finally arbitration as a last resort if necessary. Do everything possible to maintain positive relationships while protecting the company and completing the project.
