First Round - Code review round - Difficulty level was ok. A problem histogram has been sent on mail. Needed to be completed in an hour. The interviewer asked about the same assignment, all the optimisation possible in it. He was quite satisfied with my code and tweaks he asked for. In second round, three questions were asked- 1) Two pointer related problem - Was able to answer completely. 2) Water trapped between bars - Was able to answer completely 3) Split wise related problem - Was able to answer partially. Thought it as a graph problem but it was a naive array problem. It went well and she was satisfied with the approaches I gave. Third Round - Manager Round - Started with intro, then 1) Projects was asked - I discussed the project I did on my internship. 2) Anagram string problem was asked. 3) A database question was asked 4) Weaknesses, strengths and Hobbies 5) What have you done in Covid? these type of questions It went well and he was satisfied. I was told no more rounds now. Fourth Round - HR round - Started with intro, then 1) My journey as a civil engineer( I am from Non-CS background) in computer science. 2) My experience in competitive coding. 3) My computer science projects. A feedback for the HR team, kindly respect the time and effort put by the interviewee. Also, please try to be more active on mails and calls. And thank you for this interview experience.

There's a lot of elements to typically cover in these questions, clarifications, scoping, making sure you're answering the actual question the interviewer is looking for you to answer, etc. Could be worth doing a mock interview with one of the Prepfully ClearTax Software Engineer-1 experts... they've worked in the role so they clearly know how to get through the interview. prepfully.com/practice-interviews
