I described my experience editing across sectors and types of communications, but it has turned out that the editing required is very narrow, and the volume of work is so unreasonable that real, high-quality editing is virtually impossible; there is just no time to read the material thoughtfully enough. In addition, there is a huge quantity of data processing and other menial tasks related to product-processing, which have nothing to do with communications, writing, or real editing.
