Job Role Overview
As part of a small finance team, this is a unique opportunity for an experienced sales ledger clerk to help shape the sales ledger function while undertaking a varied role.
Reporting to the Finance Team Leader, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to help develop the sales ledger and credit control processes for a wide range of customers from national companies to local businesses with differing payment terms, that they will then use to assist in managing debtors and cash flow.
Whilst maintaining sales ledgers and supporting the finance sales journey, from issuing sales invoices to processing payments and reconciling cashbooks, a broad understanding of finance will be needed to ably support the team and to meet wider finance requirements.
We are looking for someone who can help improve processes and work under their own initiative but wants to be part of and support our team.
