The Product Definition Engineer (intern) will create 3D modeling and drawings using SIEMENS NX. Moreover, the PDE intern will interact with a cross functional engineering team including Electrical, Mechanical Design, and Manufacturing to collaborate on the support of GE Aerospace Commercial engine programs.

Roles and Responsibilities
Create definitions of parts, modules, and assemblies in the form of 2D cross sections, 3D models, tolerance stack-ups, and various electronic data formats to support analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and inspection.
Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
Collaborates with others to solve issues. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
Required Qualifications
Currently enrolled in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Design or related with at least 1.5 years to graduate.
Strong communication skills in both English & Spanish.
Desired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills that include closing communication loops, giving status and asking for support when required in projects.
Strong accountability and tracking of assigned tasks.
