Job Description:

We seek a motivated Research Analyst to join our team at Space in Africa. As an Analyst, you will support our market research, consulting, and data analytics efforts. You will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and interpreting data and writing industry reports to provide actionable insights and recommendations to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the African space and satellite industry.
• Collect and analyse data from various sources, including industry reports, market databases, and primary research.
• Develop detailed market reports, presentations, and other deliverables to communicate findings to clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support consulting projects and strategic initiatives.
• Stay abreast of industry developments, technological advancements, and the competitive landscape.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
• 2+ years of professional experience as a market analyst, management consultant, financial analyst, economist, or in a related role.
• Proven experience in market research, data analysis, or consulting, preferably in the space or technology sector.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
• Support studies focusing on both government and commercial segments of the African Space and Satellite Industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write industry reports and analytical articles.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is strongly required.
• Proficiency in one data analytics or visualisation tool is a plus but not required.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Proficiency in Arabic, French, and Portuguese is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Other Requirements

• This position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates based in Africa or near the GMT+2 time zone.
• Citizenship of an African country is required.
