Salary: Up to £67,000 DOE

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

What you’ll do:

As Logistics Manager, you'll lead our transport operation through a team of Transport Shift Managers, ensuring safe, efficient and customer-focused delivery across a complex and fast-moving environment. You'll be responsible for delivering operational excellence while developing your leadership team, driving continuous improvement and ensuring service, cost and productivity targets are consistently achieved. Working closely with M&S and other key stakeholders, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining high standards while identifying opportunities to improve performance and create lasting operational efficiencies.

• Leading and developing a team of Transport Shift Managers and frontline colleagues
• Delivering exceptional service, safety and compliance standards
• Driving operational performance through effective planning and KPI management
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
• Managing costs, productivity and resource utilisation
• Creating a culture of accountability, engagement and high performance

Who you are:

You'll be an experienced transport or logistics leader who enjoys developing people, improving operations and delivering results.

You'll bring:

• Experience leading large-scale transport operations within FMCG, retail, temperature-controlled or similar fast-paced logistics environments
• CPC qualification
• Strong people leadership and team development experience
• Commercial awareness and a focus on operational efficiency
• Experience managing KPIs, budgets and performance metrics
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer relationship skills
• The ability to influence, challenge and drive positive change
• Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation when required
