About the role.
That’s where you come in. We are seeking a commercially driven and strategically minded Consumer Products Manager to lead Softlines and Stationery for Mexico and Northern Latin America (NOLA). This role will own the commercial licensing strategy and partner agenda across apparel, accessories, bags, footwear, stationery, back-to-school, and other relevant lifestyle categories.
This role reports directly to the Senior Manager, Consumer Products Mexico & NOLA, and will be a critical commercial leader for the territory. The Manager will own the Softlines & Stationery licensing strategy, build and manage a strong licensee portfolio, drive revenue growth, and ensure local activation of global and regional priorities to support Netflix titles and franchises.
The business requires a leader who can operate with autonomy, sound judgment, and end-to-end ownership. The ideal candidate will be able to identify white spaces, lead commercial negotiations, manage senior licensee relationships, hold partners accountable, and drive disciplined execution across multiple partners and priorities.
The role will work in close partnership with Product Development & Creative, Retail, Marketing, Ads, Brand Partnerships, Legal, Finance, Franchise, and regional/global Consumer Products teams.
As Mexico and NOLA continue to grow in commercial complexity, this role will be essential to raising the bar and the person in this role must be able to operate as an Informed Captain: creating context, anticipating risks, making decisions, driving alignment, and keeping the business moving without requiring close follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Softlines & Stationery commercial strategy for Mexico & NOLA, translating Netflix’s global and regional franchise priorities into locally relevant category plans.
Drive sustainable revenue growth by identifying category opportunities, building commercial plans, and scaling high-potential partnerships across apparel, accessories, bags, footwear, stationery, back-to-school, and adjacent lifestyle categories.
Build and evolve a best-in-class licensee portfolio, ensuring each partner has a clear strategic role, strong execution capability, and the potential to grow with Netflix’s long-term franchise ambitions.
Own senior-level partner relationships, engaging key decision-makers with a clear point of view, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence commercial outcomes.
Lead commercial negotiations and partner development, from prospecting and pitching to onboarding, deal execution, category expansion, and long-term account growth.
Shape title and franchise commercialization plans for Softlines & Stationery, identifying white spaces, priority partners, launch moments, and product opportunities that can extend fan engagement beyond the screen.
Partner with Product Development & Creative to bring best-in-class products to market, ensuring commercial opportunities are creatively aligned, consumer-relevant, high quality, and reflective of Netflix’s brand standards.
Use business insights and market intelligence to guide category decisions, including partner performance, consumer trends, retail dynamics, sell-through, forecasts, royalties, and competitive activity.
Represent the category in key internal, external, and industry moments, including partner meetings, business reviews, planning sessions, trade shows, and cross-functional forums.
Operate as a senior commercial owner within the CP Mexico & NOLA team, creating clarity, driving alignment, making sound decisions, and contributing to a high-performing, collaborative, and Netflix-first culture.

Ability to operate with autonomy, urgency, ownership, and strong follow-through in a fast-moving environment.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
