We are currently looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join our ResortCom family!
Position Summary:
The Human Resources Assistant –
HR Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This position provides administrative and operational support across multiple HR functions, including payroll, onboarding, reporting, compliance documentation, and HR systems updates.
This role is ideal for someone looking to start or grow their career in Human Resources while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Support
HR Administration & Operations

Maintain and organize employee records (physical and digital files)
-
Ensure HR documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with labor regulations

Support department organization, supplies, and internal requests
Payroll & HRIS Support
-
Assist with payroll preparation and data validation
-
Update employee information in HRIS and payroll systems
-
Generate and maintain HR reports (attendance, headcount, etc.)
Onboarding & Employee Documentation
-
Coordinate onboarding paperwork and employee file creation
-
Ensure all new hire documentation is completed and properly stored

Support offboarding documentation and processes as needed
Employee Relations & Compliance Support
-
Draft disciplinary documentation and support HR investigations
-
Assist with maintaining compliance with Mexican labor laws (LFT)

Track attendance, tardiness, and related documentation
Talent Acquisition Support

Assist with interview scheduling and candidate coordination
-
Support the Talent Acquisition Specialist with administrative tasks

Maintain candidate records and recruitment trackers
General HR Support

Partner closely with HR Generalist and Talent Acquisition Specialist
-
Support special HR projects and process improvements

Assist in creating efficiencies within HR workflows
HR Compliance & Recordkeeping

Maintain updated personnel files with all required documentation, such as contracts, identification, and IMSS-related records.

Help ensure HR records meet local labor and fiscal requirements.

Support audits by organizing and preparing required documents.

Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation for audit readiness.
Other Duties:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Administration, Psychology, or related field (preferred or in progress)

0–2 years of experience in HR, administration, or similar role

Bilingual – fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Strong numerical, analytical, and Excel skills

Basic knowledge of Mexican labor law (LFT) is a plus

Experience with HR systems or payroll platforms is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:

1+ year of experience in an HR administrative or support role.

Familiarity with Mexican labor laws, IMSS, and basic payroll processes.

Experience working in a call center, BPO, or hospitality environment.

Knowledge of HRIS or digital employee management systems.

Basic accounting knowledge in regard to payroll.
Pay Information:

$15,000.00 -$20,000.00 MXN monthly
