SR- IOT (Camera Operations Analyst) - SR | Remote

This role involves the development and application of engineering practice and knowledge in defining, configuring and deploying industrial digital technologies (including but not limited to PLM and MES) for managing continuity of information across the engineering enterprise, including design, industrialization, manufacturing and supply chain, and for managing the manufacturing data.

The EdgeIntelligence team creates, sustains, and enhances an internally built IoT Edge platform. This platform aims to deliver a powerful digital foundation for Unconventional business unit by enabling real-time capture of high-resolution data from any Unconventional field asset to a modern, scalable data platform in the cloud. This team works to design, develop, deliver, and scale powerful new solutions in IoT, camera, and cloud space via web/app/API development, edge gateway technology integration, and wireless sensor advancement.

YOUR ROLE

Focus on Digital Continuity and Manufacturing. Develops competency in own area of expertise. Shares expertise and provides guidance and support to others. Interprets clients needs. Completes own role independently or with minimum supervision. Identifies problems and relevant issues in straight forward situations and generates solutions. Contributes in teamwork and interacts with customers.

• Deploy and manage applications in Docker/Containers environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy applications on Azure
• Provide Remote Customer Support while deploying New/Existing Cameras within Field Environments
• Proactively troubleshoot software issues affecting camera operations
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field demonstrating strong software development skills
• Proficiency in Azure
• Strong knowledge of Python, Linux, Bash scripting, Containerization, and GitHub
• Proven ability to manage containerized applications with tools like Docker/Podman
• Prior work experience in the oil and gas industry
• Experience working on teams following Agile software development methodologies
• Prior work experience with IoT or Edge Computing
• Experience working with automation software (Puppet, Datadog, Ansible, Bolt)
