What the day will look like
As an Executive Compensation & Governance Analytics Associate, you will play a key supporting role within Aon Governance, helping to deliver high-quality governance, executive compensation, and shareholder engagement work for a broad range of clients. You will collaborate closely with senior team members to execute projects, prepare client deliverables, and support day-to-day engagement needs.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
We are seeking candidates with experience in corporate governance, executive compensation, investor or proxy advisory analysis, or related legal/regulatory environments, who are comfortable working in dynamic, deadline-driven settings and producing precise, analytically strong work.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance, economics, business, actuarial science, law, public policy, statistics or a related quantitative/analytical field; an advanced degree (JD, MBA, master’s in finance/economics or related) is a plus but not required.
Experience: Typically 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in executive compensation, corporate governance, investor/proxy advisory analysis, consulting, or related legal/regulatory or data‑analytics work.
Strong familiarity with executive compensation concepts (pay mix, LTI design, equity vehicles, incentive metrics, pay‑for‑performance) and interest in deepening expertise in corporate governance and shareholder issues.
Proven ability to work with data: advanced Excel skills; comfort with large datasets, formulas, pivot tables, and building charts/exhibits; experience with compensation or governance databases is a plus.
