The paper is circulated mostly in four Illinois counties, including Cook, DuPage, Kane, and Lake and boasts a circulation of more than 145,000. In addition to its flagship paper, Paddock Publications publishes news and information online and it owns Reflejos, a bilingual newspaper serving Latinos in the suburbs of Chicago. Hosea Paddock, whose family continues to own the company, started the Daily Herald in 1871.
